Travelling through Europe with a cement mixer attached to my bike, I meet people who stop me, wondering about the mixer. Through them, I become acquainted with the neighborhood, the city, the landscape. It sometimes happens that a dialogue starts around the question of our shared space. At times, they tell me their stories, guide me to places I do not know. We retrace their daily routes, creating together paths of concrete – monuments erected in recognition of their choices, as ways of raising awareness for voices that are not heard.
